About the blog

Hello and welcome to Optibg.com!

Daniel Angelov - Author and owner of Optibg.com

My name is Daniel Angelov and this is my personal blog about various technologies. Here you will find posts related to my professional experience in different fields and to the leading trends in them. I hope they will be useful to anyone interested in software automation testing, AI, WordPress, SEO, social media marketing and more.

Who am I?

I was born and currently live in the city of Ruse. I completed my secondary education at the English Language High School "Geo Milev". I hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of Ruse "Angel Kanchev" and a Master's degree in Accounting and Control from Varna Free University. I am fluent in English and have a good command of German. I work professionally in Software Quality Assurance (Automation & Manual Backend and Frontend testing with Python, Selenium, WebdriverIO, Playwright, Appium, JavaScript, Postman, jMeter and other technologies and tools). I also have experience in the field of digital marketing and SEO, as well as Project Management. I am also actively engaged in learning, using and implementing AI in work processes (personal and professional) and in applications.

Why are SEO and digital marketing among my favourite topics?

This section exists here with this subtitle because initially Optibg.com was conceived as a blog focused mainly on SEO and social media marketing.
Even in the days of my first web projects, I was impressed by how Google indexes the pages on the web. Over the years my interest grew, and to this day I continually strive to keep up with the latest trends in this field. What is really important to know is that people are constantly searching for information and they trust established and well-recognised brands. A properly optimised website will rank at the top positions in Google, and that can only be positive for a given brand. The organic traffic that can be gained by a fully optimised website will sooner or later be monetised — that is, the brand will gain real customers who will generate real revenue. And when digital marketing and SEO are part of that brand's marketing strategy, these customers will certainly turn into loyal followers and their number will grow over time. Quite logically, this also means more profit.

From the experience I have gained so far, I have learned one thing — the greatest gain is people's trust. Whoever has it, has everything. It is precisely for this reason that I have always strived to be honest and fair with the clients I have communicated with, so that I can preserve their trust in me and in the company I work for.

What is the future of SEO?

We are already seeing the changes. For a long time now, it has not been most important to rank at the top positions for a given keyword or phrase. Search itself has changed as well. If until 2023 people searched on Google, nowadays they will search through one of the many publicly available AI tools (and not only). And this is a future trend that keeps deepening. That is why what matters now is how your content is structured and to what extent AI knows about your content.

Why is there difference from the Bulgarian version of the blog?

Optibg.com was for many years a Bulgarian only blog primary for SEO, WordPress & Digital Marketing. It also has a YouTube channel (link in the footer) for WordPress video tutorials (again in Bulgarian language). While the Bulgarian version will continue to be focused on these topics (as well as some others) and eventually the content there should increase, the English version will focus more on general technology, Automation Software Quality assurance and AI. Of course one of the core categories here again will be WordPress but with as unique content as possible. For the time being there are no plans of English based YouTube channel. As for social media - eventually posts will have dual descriptions in Bulgarian and English. Feel free to check also the Bulgarian content at any time - posts easily can be translated with the translator tool of your choice.
